Project Duration Six weeks plus demolition.

Type of Project Modular Tesco Express.

Scope of WorkMajor demolitions of an existing public house and substantial site remediation had to be undertaken to enable the construction of concrete foundations and installation of a drainage system for the store. The structure had to comply with a number of local planning requirements including a pitched roof and application of brick slips to give the appearance of a traditionally built structure.

Challenges The main challenge was the demolition and site remediation with a number of problems found in the basement of the demolished structure.
